What I Wore Wednesday...

Guys, this past week (aside from yesterday) was the busiest one I can remember. But, thank goodness, both our Christmas program at church, that I wrote and directed, and the Christmas program at our former church, that I wrote, are over and both went great! Now I can breathe. Oh, and school's out, which means I've actually been able to clean my house. Hallelujah. 

I was a bad girl this week when it came snapping outfit pictures, but I did manage to remember a few times.

Church:

Sweater- JC Penney (first thing I've bought there in years, but I love the collar.)

Skirt- Loft

Shoes- gift from seester

Bracelet- GroopDealz

Sometimes you're a wannabe fashionista, and sometimes you're just a middle school teacher wearing polka dot knee socks for the 6th grade Christmas party. 

Eh, who cares? The kids loved it.

When I was in 10th grade we moved from California to North Carolina, and my cousin introduced me to Sperrys, which I'd never heard of before. (At 15, I thought they were hideous, even though it seemed every girl in my high school had a pair.) They've grown on me over the years, and while I still don't wear them a whole lot, I found this pair of metallic ones 70% OFF (??!!) and snagged them for Christmas. You can't really tell, but they're not the traditional laceup version, more of a regular flat. Love or hate Sperrys, I can't pass up a good metallic flat. And they're SOOOO comfortable. This teacher rejoices.

School/Attending Christmas rehearsal:

Sweater- Target

Skirt- Old Navy

Shoes- Cato

Necklace- Target

It's my favorite one, and I knew this outfit needed a little something extra. I loved how it turned out.
